The Child Neurology Program, located at Strong Memorial Hospital, focuses on neurological disorders in children, such as:
- Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)
- Autism
- Brain tumors
- Developmental delay
- Headaches
- Movement disorders in children
- Seizures – febrile, petit mal
- Tourette syndrome
Child Neurology Unit
The Child Neurology Unit provides diagnosis and comprehensive care to children with any type of neurological disorder. A team of seven neurologists, two neuropsychologists, four nurse practitioners, an RN and a social worker provides interdisciplinary care. The Child Neurology group has a diverse background of training and specialties and boasts one of the finest practices in the region.
Referrals
Patients are seen on the recommendation of their pediatrician.
