Kirch Developmental Services Center is the primary clinical services program of the Division of Neurodevelopmental and Behavioral Pediatrics.This multidisciplinary program provides individualized evaluation and specialty health care to children with known or suspected developmental disabilities such as Cerebral Palsy, Autism, Spina Bifida and Intellectual Disability (also known as Mental Retardation).

Our Services Include Diagnostic Evaluations, Early Intervention Evaluations, Specialty Health Care Consultation and Information and Referral Services are provided to children who are suspected of having a Developmental Disability. Information and Referral Services are available via a phone line and email information for families and professionals.

What to Expect at the Kirch Developmental Services Center

Our Team

Primary Care Provider (PCP) Phone Consultation Line:
Our PCP phone consultation service is a regular opportunity for Primary Care Physicians to communicate directly with our providers in order to increase skills and knowledge in the care of children with developmental disabilities.

Who is Eligible? We are currently accepting new patients under the age of 18 years with known or suspected disabilities.The intake process includes a phone interview with a parent or caregiver to determine whether the Kirch Center is the most appropriate source of services and to determine the specific type of services needed. Referrals to other sources of service are sometimes made during the intake process.

What Does the Program Cost?Costs depend upon the services required. We accept Medical Insurance, including Medicaid, Early Intervention (depending on contract), School District Consultation and Self-Pay.
